At the
Edge of the Current
Big water holds the sea run fish, salmon and steelhead. The
angler, who wades as required for steelhead, cannot negotiate the
fast water. He must stop at the edge of the current.
The fish also hold there just out of the heavy water which would
tire them on their long spawning run. And so the two, angler
and quarry meet here at the edge of the current and the battle is
engaged.
